An exceptional pair of large one off doors by pioneering French Art Deco designer André Sornay (1902-2000).
Circa 1930's, Lyon, France.
Hand painted wood featuring Sornay's signature "cloutage" brass nails and locks.
Marks and scuffs to the paintwork, plus loss of paint to on the rear and edges (see photos). Areas of restoration which have been touched up with a matching colour paint.
