Rare 1980s Memphis era Philips Depose desk lamp. The lampshade is made of a metallic structure lacquered red with black metallic fine mesh. There is one bulb casing held in a black plastic bulb holder. The stem is made of a curved red metallic structure with the lamp's coiled black wire placed at its centre. There is a black plastic butterfly joint at the base of the stem to adjust the stem's angle. The base is made of a large black plastic cylinder with a red plastic switch and a black circular disk. The Philips logo is stamped underneath the base.
The desk lamp is in good condition and in full working order. The are paint chips to the black metallic fine mesh (please see pictures). The bulb is supplied (9/11 w).
