A 1930's ceramic vase by Gaston Goor and produced by the Mougin brothers Joseph and Pierre Mougin, Nancy, France.
It showcases the signature deep incised lines and glazing technique that the Mougin brothers were known for.
Drawing inspiration from the art he discovered at the Louvre in his early years, Goor's work often portrays male figures, with many of his pieces subtly or occasionally explicitly exploring homoerotic themes. He is known for illustrating numerous books by Roger Peyrefitte.
