An Arts and Crafts Bronze Adjustable Table Lamp by Falk & Stadelmann, English, circa 1910.
This finely crafted bronze table lamp exemplifies the Arts and Crafts aesthetic, featuring a square-section stem surmounted by an urn-shaped finial and supported on a broad circular base. The lamp is fitted with a Trench Art engraved conical shade, the exterior delicately decorated with Classical representations of Venus and Diana, and the interior engraved with modernist depictions of female nude bathers. The shade is inscribed and dated “RW 1918.”
