“Night Castel” Lamp by Josef Hoffmann, Wiener Werkstätte, Austria, circa 1920.

Made from brass and embossed on the side with Hoffmann’s monogram “JH” and “WIENER WERK STÄTTE,” the lamp retains its original fabric—a rare feature that highlights the authenticity and craftsmanship characteristic of Wiener Werkstätte lighting designs.

The lamp is in good working condition and has been rewired with a braided cord and fitted with a UK plug. The switch functions correctly, and the lamp has been PAT tested for safety. The fabric shade shows some age-related wear, with a few splits and small holes, consistent with its age and use.
