A pair of oak Arts & Crafts dining chairs produced by William Birch with the design attributed to George Walton.

Circa 1910, England.

Tapering backs with pierced panels above the original rush-upholstered seats on ring turned tapering legs linked by bowed cross stretchers. The rush seats has been newly replaced, preserving their traditional character while ensuring continued use.
