An original Bauhaus 1930s Kaiser Idell type 6556 desk lamp, designed by Christian Dell for Kaiser Idell, Germany.
This model is pre war and is a perfect example of the craftsmanship and design skills of Kaiser Leuchten. It would make a wonderful addition to a modern interior as a desk lamp or subsidiary lighting in a sitting area and is a must for any collector.
The lamp is in very good condition and in full working order. Although there are marks as would be expected for its age. It takes one ES E27 (normal size Edison screw fit) bulb. It is has been rewired and earthed.
