Robert Falcucci trained in Paris at the École des Beaux-Arts and the École des Arts Décoratifs, and he was also taught by Cécile and Émmanuel Cavaille-Coll. In 1922 he joined the Renault company as a commercial artist and designed many posters for it. While pursuing this career he also painted and exhibited regularly in Paris at the Salon des Artistes Français, the Salon des Indépendants, the Salon des Peintres de l'Armée and the Salon de la Marine. He won a gold medal at the Colonial Exhibition of Marrakech in 1967 and a number of other distinctions followed: gold medal in the Grand Prix of the Salon de l'Armée, gold medal at the Salon des Artistes Français, the Vermeil medal of the City of Paris, the Corot landscape prize and the Bonnat prize at the Académie. From 1970 he lived in St-Aubain-Châteauneuf.

He decorated the battleship Dunkerque, the first Caravelle, the Boeing Château de Compiègne, the Air Japan rooms at Orly and the reception area in Le Bourget airport. He also carried out works for the Paris churches of St Francis of Assisi, the Chœur Eucharistique and Notre-Dame de l'Ésperance, and carved a monumental statue for the Sacré-Coeur Basilica. He illustrated R. Hervouin's Guynemer, Legendary Hero ( Guynemer, héros légendaire), Paul Ribers' Opening Arrows ( Flèches ouvrantes) (Opening Arrows), Prosper Mérimée's Colomba, and R.P. Ranson's Sacred Presences ( Présences Sacrées) (Sacred Presences).

He used the techniques of painting and sculpture with rare energy. His works fall into several categories. Among his large religious paintings are a Last Supper, a Resurrection of the Body, and several moving images of Christ painted with dramatic chiaroscuro. Falcucci was also an official military painter, painting many French war heroes and a monumental work on the subject of World War I. He also painted sensual female nudes.
