A spectacular games table by Italian designer Carlo Bugatti (1846-1940). Definitely the most beautiful table we have come across, this one off table is a glorious piece of art and design, the ebonised walnut is beautifully decorated, not with paint but with pewter inlayed games motifs and is worthy of museum display. Speaking of which the table was displayed at the first full scale exhibition devoted to the Bugattis in Great Britain held by the Design Council in 1979 and has the original documentation to prove this.

Ebonised walnut, pewter inlay, vellum top and copper clad columns. The table is in good solid condition usable condition.

A member of the influential Italian Bugatti family he is the son of the specialist interior decorator Luigi Bugatti and father of renowned sculptor Rembrandt Bugatti and the Bugatti automobile founder Ettore Bugatti.
