A beautifully hand-embroidered linen panel depicting an elegant Ancient Egyptian ceremonial procession. The detailed scene features figures bearing offerings, a sacred river barque, lotus and papyrus motifs, hieroglyphic-inspired decoration, and richly coloured embroidery worked onto a natural linen ground.
The panel has a wonderful aged patina, with soft tones and subtle signs of age.
