Painting by Soviet sculptor, graphic designer and artist Josef Chaikov (1888-1979).
Born in Kiev in 1888 Chaikov studied in Paris in the years 1910 through 1914. Known for his distinctive Russian Cubo-Futuirism style. Chaikov exhibited at the 1937 Paris Exposition, the 1939 New York World's Fair and the All Russian Ehibition in Moscow, 1954.
Gouache and silver paint on chamois-colored paper. Signature: inscribed on verso.
We have had the artwork framed and placed behind non reflective glass.
